We are seeking a high-impact Sales Manager to join our leadership team. This is a newly restructured role, and the person hired will be one of two Sales Managers, each responsible for multiple branches (3-4 locations). The assigned branches will be determined based on the candidate’s strengths and what makes the most sense strategically.
The Sales Manager is accountable for top-line revenue growth across memberships and equipment sales, ensuring our teams hit key 2025 targets:
● 1,900 Memberships
● 294 Equipment Units Sold
● $8.1 Million in Equipment Revenue
● $2 Million in Membership Revenue
This role is not a desk job. It requires 50% travel to coach, develop, and lead the sales team in the field. The Sales Manager must be a hands-on leader who thrives in a high-accountability, high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
● Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth
○ Own sales performance for assigned branches, ensuring teams hit membership and equipment sales goals.
○ Work side-by-side with sales reps, actively coaching and closing deals. ○ Set clear expectations and accountability for sales processes, prospecting, and pipeline management.
○ Provide ongoing training on prospecting, presentations, closing, and objection handling. ○ Track KPIs, ensure sales teams hit metrics, and develop corrective action plans when necessary.
● Field Engagement (50% Travel – Strictly Enforced)
○ Spend one week at home, one week on the road, alternating continuously.
○ Be in the field supporting sales reps on large deals, customer meetings, and strategic accounts.
○ Observe and coach sales calls, refine sales techniques, and ensure company processes are being followed.
○ Lead by example—demonstrate how to close deals, prospect effectively, and maintain strong customer relationships.
● Strategic Leadership & Culture Building
○ Serve as a key member of the leadership team, influencing company sales strategy. ○ Attend quarterly offsite leadership meetings (subject to change).
○ Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and servant leadership.
○ Collaborate with Marketing, Service, and other departments to drive growth and efficiency.
○ Weekly 1:1’s with all direct reports
What We’re Looking For
● Proven experience in B2B sales leadership, preferably in industrial or technical sales. ● Strong track record of leading teams to exceed revenue goals.
● Ability to motivate, train, and develop salespeople.
● Highly accountable, results-driven, and comfortable being in the trenches with the sales team.
● Exceptional skills in prospecting, sales coaching, closing deals, and pipeline management. ● Comfortable traveling 50% of the time and enforcing field engagement expectations.
● Strong strategic thinking and leadership capabilities.
● Embodies a servant leadership mindset—puts the team first and leads by example.
