Job Description

1. Experience required:
2. 5 – 7 years experience performing analytical method development of nutraceutical and/or pharmaceutical products in a cGMP regulated environment.
3. Intermediate or mid-level experience in method development of complex nutraceutical matrices/finished products.
4. Knowledge in the characterization and elucidation of botanical compound structures by study of the compound structure, spectroscopic methods and Mass spectrometry.
5. Strong understanding of instrumentation such as: FTIR, HPLC, ICP, QG, UV-Vis, LC-MS, GC-MS, ICP-MS, HPTLC.
6. Strong troubleshooting skills on HPLC and GC.
7. MUST be Proficient in Empower chromatography acquisition database software.
8. Strong analytical skills in laboratory techniques and fundamentals such as titration, gravimetric methods, separation techniques and others.
9. This position will periodically support product release as part of method development responsibilities.
10. Knowledge of industry regulations, FDA, and ICH guidelines to ensure compliance and maintain Laboratory Accreditations such as ISO 17025, NSF.
