Multi Image Group (MIG) is a 46-year-old, employee-owned global production company based in Boca Raton, Florida. We create live events, digital content, and brand activations for some of the world’s most recognizable brands. From strategy to staging, we bring world-class experiences to life—all in-house.

We are seeking a skilled CAD Specialist to support MIG’s event production, staging, and technical teams. This role is focused on developing detailed CAD drawings and layouts for corporate events, trade shows, and live productions, ensuring designs meet creative and technical requirements. You will collaborate with creative directors, technical directors, engineers, and project managers to translate ideas into accurate, production-ready schematics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for event staging, scenic designs, technical layouts, and venue plans.
• Interpret creative concepts and translate them into production-ready drawings.
• Modify and update CAD files as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with coworkers and suppliers to ensure feasibility and accuracy of designs.
• Maintain organized drawing libraries and adhere to established naming conventions and file management practices.
• Support project teams with quick-turn revisions, layouts for site surveys, and as-built documentation post-event.
• Provide visual support for proposals and client presentations when required.
• Responsible for developing Fire Marshall drawings, so any prior knowledge of typical event codes and norms is a plus.
• Candidate will oversee the company’s room shell library.

Education & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in CAD drafting (Vectorworks, AutoCAD, or similar) in a live event, entertainment, or architectural environment.
• Strong understanding of event staging, scenic elements, and A/V production workflows preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, floor plans, and venue specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Teams) and file management best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Able to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Local to South Florida (Boca Raton) and available for full-time, on-site work Monday-Friday.
• Comfortable collaborating with executives, technical crew, and creative teams.
• Positive, solutions-focused mindset with a sense of humor.
• Braceworks or similar program experience - a plus.
• Prior experience with entertainment rigging or point load calculations -a plus.
