Job Description

We're looking for an International Carrier Sales Representative to join our team and play a key role in growing our reputation within the industry.

Role Overview

As an International Carrier Sales Representative, you will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with trucking companies (carriers) across the country. You’ll collaborate closely with carriers to coordinate shipments, ensuring optimal matches between the right truck, shipment, timing, and price. Your role involves daily shipment management, rate negotiation, and problem-solving to deliver exceptional service. This is a dynamic position that encompasses inside sales, account management, and operational responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Shipment Management: Ensure all shipments are covered, accurately communicated, tracked in the system, and properly serviced.
  • Carrier Relationship Development: Generate leads, make outbound calls, and establish both new and existing carrier relationships.
  • Carrier Communication: Maintain continuous communication to manage agreements and secure additional truck capacity.
  • Load Booking & Rate Negotiation: Book loads, negotiate rates, and select carriers based on service and profitability goals.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues, collaborating across teams for optimal solutions.
  • Service Excellence: Provide exceptional service to carriers and customers alike.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and systems.
