Today, the bank operates in multiple locations throughout Southeast Texas and is currently building their brand by expanding their footprint in Houston and surrounding markets. Role Description This position is for a full-time Chief Credit Officer located in Houston, TX. The Chief Credit Officer will be responsible for overseeing the credit management and risk management functions, underwriting, and portfolio management. The role includes developing and implementing credit policies, assessing creditworthiness, monitoring the bank's credit portfolio, and ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. Qualifications Credit Management and Credit Risk Management skills Finance and Underwriting experience Portfolio Management skills Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities Excellent leadership and communication skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus
