Superintendent – Dallas, TX

General Contractor | Ground-Up Commercial Projects

Full-Time | On-Site Role

A well-established General Contractor based in Dallas is seeking a skilled Superintendent to lead the on-site execution of commercial construction projects. This position is ideal for someone with strong field experience who can take full ownership of project delivery, safety, and subcontractor coordination on site.

The company delivers a range of ground-up commercial projects across medical, religious, office, and retail sectors , along with select renovation and interior build-out projects throughout the Dallas area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily on-site operations and ensure adherence to the project schedule
• Coordinate all field activities, subcontractors, vendors, and inspections
• Ensure all work is performed to plans, specifications, and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in accordance with OSHA standards
• Conduct daily safety and coordination meetings with site personnel
• Work closely with the Project Manager to track progress and communicate updates
• Manage site documentation, including logs, reports, and inspections
• Identify and resolve on-site issues proactively to keep the project on track
• Ensure project is completed on time and within budget

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial ground-up construction projects
• Proven experience leading projects from start to finish
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety practices, and building codes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schedules, and specifications
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in field management software (Procore, PlanGrid, etc.) preferred
• OSHA 30 certification strongly preferred
