Job Title: Data Entry Clerk

Pay Rate: $20 to $21 per hour

Location: San Diego, CA

Schedule: Full-time, onsite. Monday to Friday 6:30 AM to 3 PM

Job Type: Temporary with potential for temporary to hire

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Clerk to join our client's team. This is a temporary position with potential for temporary to hire. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow. The clerk will play an important part in entering accurate data, supporting financial processes, and assisting with monthly close procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter invoices, receipts, and other records into the database
• Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and filing systems
• Verify data for completeness and accuracy
• Collaborate with the team to ensure deadlines are met
• Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and document organization
• Respond to internal inquiries regarding data and reports
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
• Collaborate with staff to ensure timely completion of departmental tasks

Qualifications:

• Previous data entry or administrative experience
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
