About Us:

Peak Events LLC, is an event management company that specializes in NCAA Division 1 collegiate sporting events based in Allen, Texas. Peak Events received its start in 2017 with the implementation of an NCAA Division I baseball tournament called the Frisco College Baseball Classic, at Riders Field in Frisco, Texas. The company expanded with a second tournament in 2020: the Round Rock Classic located at Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas. It expanded even further in 2024 with two more tournaments, the Jax Classic (VyStar Ballpark, Jacksonville, FL) and the Las Vegas Classic (Las Vegas Ballpark in Las Vegas, NV). Peak Events LLC is a sister company of Peak Sports MGMT, who manages sponsorship sales and multi-media rights for various collegiate properties around the country.

Position Overview:

The Director of Corporate Partnerships is responsible for developing, selling, and managing strategic corporate sponsorships for Peak Events' growing portfolio of premier sports properties. This role blends business development, relationship management, and brand strategy to secure and sustain mutually beneficial partnerships. The ideal candidate is a proactive, high-energy sales professional who excels at building long-term relationships and delivering tailored solutions that align with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new corporate partnerships and sponsorship opportunities for Peak Events' portfolio.
  • Conduct prospecting efforts and build a strong sales pipeline through networking, cold outreach, and industry research.
  • Develop customized sponsorship proposals that align with client goals and leverage the unique assets of each event.
  • Negotiate sponsorship agreements, ensuring value for both the client and Peak Events.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for assigned partners, managing all aspects of partnership delivery and activation.
  • Oversee fulfillment of partnership assets including signage, media, digital, hospitality, and experiential components.
  • Collaborate with internal operations, marketing, and event teams to ensure seamless execution of partner activations.
  • Deliver regular communication and performance reports to partners, providing measurable ROI and value.
  • Identify upselling and renewal opportunities and present strategic recommendations for long-term success.
  • Assist with on-site execution and hospitality during events, ensuring exceptional service and attention to partner needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, partnership development, or related field in sports, events, or entertainment.
  • Strong understanding of sponsorship value and activation across multiple platforms.
  • Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close deals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism, initiative, and customer service.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, event-driven environment with some evening/weekend work required.
  • Experience working in live events or sports marketing is preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Google Suites.
