Your role

1. Air Quality Management: Ensure compliance with NJDEP air quality regulations and manage air permit processes while monitoring emissions
2. Community Engagement: Advocate for environmental justice by collaborating with local communities to promote sustainable practices
3. Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to NJDEP regulations, preparing essential documentation and staying updated on changes
4. Risk Management: Develop and implement safety plans to comply with the Toxic Catastrophe Prevention Act (TCPA)
5. Discharge Prevention: Establish procedures for preventing and managing hazardous discharges, ensuring operational safety
6. Waste Management: Drive waste reduction and recycling initiatives while ensuring compliance with RCRA regulations
7. Impact Assessments: Conduct assessments for new projects, analyzing potential environmental impacts
8. Collaboration: Work with engineering teams to integrate environmental regulations into process design and operations
9. Innovation: Stay ahead of environmental technologies and propose solutions to enhance sustainability

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or a related field
• Experience with environmental regulations and compliance in New Jersey
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Passion for sustainability and proactive in driving initiatives
• Innovative Mindset : Ability to propose creative solutions for enhanced environmental performance
