Position Details:

Job Title: Experience Design Specialist

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid Role)

Duration: 9+ Months (With possible extension)

Key Responsibilities

• Consult on complex design initiatives with broad business impact and long-term planning needs.
• Review and solve multifaceted experience challenges through deep evaluation of business, user, and technical requirements.
• Develop and execute customer experience solutions using tools such as:
• Customer experience briefs
• Wireframes, site maps, site strategy
• Task flows, journey maps, navigation schematics
• Visual mockups, design briefs, prototypes, templates
• Lead and refine prototypes in Figma and present deliverables to managers and peers.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders including engineering, research, content, and product teams.
• Translate research insights and business objectives into actionable design solutions.
• Engage with stakeholders to influence product direction and ensure alignment with compliance and accessibility standards (ADA).

Qualifications & Required Experience

• 2+ years in UX/product design, content design, design research, or a related experience design field.
• Mastery of Figma for design systems, prototyping, and visual design.
• Strong knowledge of MS suite and collaboration tools.
• Demonstrated experience presenting, defending, and evolving design work based on feedback.
• Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to influence, collaborate, and lead.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Comfortable navigating enterprise-scale complexity and working across teams

Nice-to-Have skills

• Experience designing for virtual assistants , AI/chatbots , or conversational UIs .
• Background in content design or partnership with content strategists.
• Familiarity with design systems, ADA compliance, and modern enterprise UX patterns.
• Passion for AI trends , emerging tech, and data-driven design solutions.
• Experience supporting fast-follow releases and iterative UX practices.
