Path2Halal is a 30-day, turnkey program that converts pork-free QSRs and fast-casual kitchens into fully certified halal operations.
We partner with IFANCA, ISA and HFSAA auditors to issue ISO 17065-accredited certificates, and we run all internal logs on SafetyCulture iAuditor. Our SoCal pilot slate is expanding fast.
What You’ll Do
▸ Perform gap scans and draft Halal Assurance System (HAS) binders to GSO 2055-2 Annex A standards.
▸ Train BOH staff on colour-coded utensil flow and sanitation SOPs.
▸ Conduct ISO 19011-style internal audits, close non-conformities, and escort an external IFANCA/ISA/HFSAA audit (≈4 h on-site).
▸ Upload daily logs and corrective actions in the SafetyCulture (iAuditor) mobile app.
▸ Deliver each kitchen from “haram” status to certificate issuance inside 30 calendar days.
Success Looks Like
✓ HAS binder approved on first review
✓ Zero major NCs on the external audit
✓ Client pay-back < 1 month (typical revenue lift 15-25 %).
Must-Haves
• ISO 19011 internal-auditor certificate OR equivalent food-safety auditor licence.
• Documented experience with halal, kosher, or GFSI audits (2 yrs +).
• E&O / professional-liability cover ≥ US $1 M.
• Able to service LA/OC/Inland Empire; remote prep + 2-3 on-site visits per project.
• Independence: you may NOT sign the final certificate for any site you’ve prepped (ISO 17065 impartiality rule).
Comp & Load
• Milestone pay: 40 % / 40 % / 20 % ≈ US $1.9 k per conversion.
• Expected throughput: 5–6 conversions per month (< 70 % utilisation to avoid audit fatigue).
• Contractor (1099); paid within 3 business days of each milestone sign-off.
