Job Description

Our team has a long-term client in the Dallas, TX area seeking to hire a recent college graduate with a background in finance. My client is a large insurance holding company. They are currently seeking someone to work in a front desk/office support capacity. The person hired in this role will serve in the front desk capacity for approximately one year before transitioning to a higher compensated technical, insurance career path.

My client is treating this as a way for the new hire to meet senior leaders, build relationships and learn a bit about the company and the players before starting their true insurance career.

Responsibilities

• Manage the reception area and staff to ensure effective communication both internally and externally
• Provide office guests with a hospitable experience
• Supervise the maintenance of office areas, equipment, and facilities
• Interact with IT, phone and building personnel as needed

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work

Work Schedule

• Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM
