About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Temporary Escrow Assistant to support our fast-paced escrow team in Downtown Austin. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in real estate, title, or escrow services, and who thrives in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support escrow officers with administrative and transactional tasks
• Open, process, and close escrow files
• Prepare escrow documents, title commitments, and closing packages
• Communicate professionally with realtors, lenders, clients, and internal teams
• Manage document tracking, file organization, and data entry
• Review and verify closing instructions and compliance items
• Coordinate with title examiners and underwriters as needed
• Assist with disbursements, funding, and recording documentation

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in escrow, title, or real estate support preferred
• Working knowledge of escrow processes and documents
• Familiarity with escrow software (e.g., SoftPro, RamQuest, ResWare) is a plus
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
