Mayzon is looking for an Injection Molding Mechanic for our 2nd shift maintenance department. Mayzon is a well-established company with offices in New York City, Montreal and New Castle, Delaware. This position is based out of the New Castle, Delaware office.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The position of Injection Molding Mechanic is responsible for maintenance and repair in the Injection Molding Department of Mayzon. This position will include all troubleshooting and repairs, Mechanical and Electrical. This position will also be responsible for the preventive Maintenance of the equipment to ensure proper running conditions.
Below is a list of the critical tasks of the position.
MAJOR TASKS – RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform preventive Maintenance tasks.
Troubleshooting and repair of machinery
Document all work on a PC based Maintenance Program
Identify opportunities for equipment performance improvements.
Work with department supervision to maximizeuptime and efficiency of the Department.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
3 years’experience in an Injection Moldingenvironment
3 years’experience mechanical and electrical
Ability to read electrical schematics proficiently.
Ability to read Hydraulicschematics proficiently.
Work with minimal supervision
Great Troubleshooting skills
Good writtenand verbal communication skills
Good computerskills
Must have the ability to read and write in English.
