About the Role

As a Claims Financial Analyst , you’ll play a critical role in calculating business losses, evaluating financial damages, and preparing detailed claims presentations for insurance negotiations.

You’ll collaborate closely with our adjusting teams, legal counsel, property consultants, and most importantly — our clients — to help them recover what they’re owed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial statements, profit and loss reports, and tax records to quantify business interruption (BI/EE) claims
  • Engage with business owners to understand operational impacts and revenue loss scenarios
  • Prepare financial reports supporting builder’s risk claims, property damage, and inventory claims
  • Build financial models that demonstrate loss calculations for insurance submissions
  • Organize and validate expense documentation for additional living expenses (ALE) claims
  • Assist in verifying receipts, invoices, and proofs of loss for both business and personal property recovery
  • Develop rebuttal reports to challenge carrier valuations and support fair settlements

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, forensic accounting, audit, claims valuation, or similar consulting work
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills; investigative mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — must simplify complex financial findings for clients and adjusters
  • High proficiency in Excel; experience with financial modeling tools is a plus
  • Highly organized, detail-driven, and committed to client success
