Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a creative and collaborative Landscape Architect to join our growing team in Atlanta, GA. This role offers the opportunity to design and shape meaningful environments that enhance quality of life—particularly in the senior living, housing, and broader community sectors. You will work closely with architects, planners, and clients to create thoughtful, people-focused outdoor spaces that foster connection, accessibility, and long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support landscape design efforts from concept through construction documentation for a variety of senior living, multifamily housing, and community-based projects.
  • Develop site plans, planting designs, hardscape layouts, and grading plans that are context-sensitive and meet both aesthetic and functional goals.
  • Participate in client meetings, public presentations, and stakeholder engagement sessions to gather input and present design concepts.
  • Coordinate with internal team members and external consultants including civil engineers, architects, and urban planners.
  • Prepare presentation materials, renderings, and construction documents using software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Lumion.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, ADA accessibility standards, and environmental best practices.
  • Assist in construction administration, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting site visits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 3–8 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, with relevant project experience in senior living, residential, or civic/community spaces.
  • Licensure or on track for licensure (PLA) preferred.
  • Strong design sensibility with an understanding of the role landscape plays in shaping community health and well-being.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and either SketchUp, Lumion, Rhino, or similar 3D modeling/rendering tools.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of native and adaptive plant species in the Southeast climate is a plus.

Why Join Us?

We’re a mission-driven firm focused on creating places where people of all ages can thrive. Our team values curiosity, design excellence, and a grounded, human-centered approach to placemaking. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on communities across the Southeast while growing your career in a supportive and collaborative environment.
