Maintenance Mechanic

We are working with a leading Gluten Free Manufacturer distributing nationwide to all retailers and food service providers. The company aims to strengthen its brand and reach growing groups of people looking for healthier lifestyle foods. They are looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to provide daily and weekly machine maintenance, Preventative maintenance, assembling, and disassembling of machines for production.

Location: Orange County, NY

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs troubleshooting on production equipment as required
• Assemble and disassemble machines
• Set up and take down of machines for daily production
• All Handy work for the entire facility
• Completing the preventative maintenance schedule as assigned for all machines and equipment, including but not limited to oiling of machines and regular maintenance
• Perform weekly rounds and inspections of machines to ensure all are running properly

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Must have experience with Manufacturing and packaging machines
• Prior mechanical experience with bakery machinery is a plus
• Industrial experience is a plus
• Handy work experience
• Must be able to read and write in English. Spanish is a plus.
• May need to work night shift during busy periods.
• May need to work Sunday shift during busy periods.
• Excel in a fast-growing environment and excited to create new procedures and processes from scratch, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
