Mothersauce is a marketing agency specializing in culinary culture . We’re a modern, high-energy team passionate about connecting brands with food and culture in meaningful ways. We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join us on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and eager to take ownership of their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Manage social media channels for clients, including scheduling posts and maintaining content calendars.
- Influencer Program Coordination: Coordinate our influencer program – identify and engage influencers, handle outreach and ongoing communication, and nurture those relationships.
- Content & Strategy Development: Write client-facing strategic briefs and concept decks that clearly communicate campaign ideas and creative concepts.
- Campaign Tracking & Reporting: Support campaign performance tracking by gathering social and digital metrics, and assist in compiling clear, insightful reports on results.
- Project Management: Maintain project timelines and deliverables, ensuring campaigns stay on track and deadlines are met.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with internal team members (design, creative, strategy) to coordinate tasks and ensure information flows smoothly.
- Presentation Updates: Update and polish presentation decks (primarily in Keynote) for client meetings and proposals, ensuring all content is up-to-date and visually on-brand.
- Brainstorms & Ideation: Contribute fresh ideas during team brainstorms and assist in developing innovative campaign concepts.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay on top of industry trends, especially in social media, digital marketing, and food/culinary culture, to bring new insights and ideas to the team.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years in a marketing or agency role, with a strong grasp of social media strategy, paid social, and influencer marketing. (Agency experience is a plus.)
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to craft clear briefs, engaging social content, and professional client deliverables.
- Organization: Strong organizational and project management skills. Keen attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Self-Starter: Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision. You take ownership of your projects and drive them to completion.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, etc.), Notion for project organization, and Keynote for presentations.
- Passion: A genuine interest in culinary culture, food trends, and the digital/social media landscape. (Passion for food and marketing is a big plus!)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
