Ventura Manufacturing: Materials Manager Overall Expectation: We are seeking a dynamic Materials Manager to cast a vision and drive improvement in our logistics and supply chain operations with a strong emphasis on lean principles. In this role, you will educate and mentor the team on lean methodologies to drive efficiency and waste reduction. You will also collaborate with cross-functional leaders to optimize the supply chain, ensuring seamless material flow and on-time delivery. Additionally, you will champion the vision for our ERP system, driving adoption, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making to support business growth. Highlighted Expectations: * ERP System Vision & Optimization – Develop and implement a strategic vision for ERP systems that utilizes the maximum benefit for our business models. * Lean Educator & Mentor – Teach the concepts behind ERP systems to the broader team and ensure all Venturians are able to apply the relevant tools and principles. * Collaborative Leadership – Through an indirect leadership role, collaborate with a variety of functions within Ventura to optimize our systems and processes. * Global Supply Chain Improvement – Leverage your strong understanding of global supply chain and logistics to drive improvements around the world. Requirements: * Have a deep understanding of ERP systems and the lean concepts supporting their function. Experience with multiple ERP systems is preferred. * Possess a foundational knowledge of global supply chains and logistics. * Ability to analyze, streamline, and drive the implementation of an optimized global materials and logistics system within operations. * Ability to collaborate effectively with other leaders and influence the team surrounding supply chain priorities. * Ability to teach lean concepts and their relation to ERP systems. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Demonstrated leadership approach that is aligned with the Vision and Values of Ventura. * Minimum 7 years of relevant industry experience. Automotive industry experience preferred.
