We Are Hiring for Music Teachers for Vocal Coaching and Guitar!

Are you a passionate musician with a flair for teaching? DeTar Music Studios is seeking talented individuals to join our beautiful studio in Santa Barbara! Teach beginners through advanced children, teens, and adults.

At our studio, we're dedicated to fostering musical talent and nurturing the next generation of artists. Our state-of-the-art recording and rehearsal studio provides the perfect environment for both teaching and honing your craft.

Applicant Requirements:

• Expertise in guitar and voice beyond basic proficiency. BA in Music, Conservatory-trained, or the equivalent.
• Expertise in music pedagogy
• Proficiency in multiple instruments (piano, drums, guitar, and/or vocals) preferred
• Prior teaching experience preferred
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages and skill levels
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professionalism and Dependability. Ability to commit to weekly lesson times throughout the year.
• Self-starter with the ability to organize and track your own lesson schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Teach engaging and informative music lessons for just a few hours a week or building up to full-time
• Create personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's goals and abilities
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve
• Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment
• Communicate with parents on student progress and practice plan
