Job Description

Job Title: Orthopedic Spine Surgeon

Location: Atlanta, GA

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Neurosurgeon or Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in complex spine surgeries and a commitment to providing patient-centered care. This is a unique opportunity to build a thriving practice within a well-established and supportive organization, with a first-year earning potential exceeding $1 million.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and diagnoses of patients with spinal disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including both surgical and non-surgical options.
  • Perform complex spine surgeries, including but not limited to:
  • Spinal fusions
  • Discectomies
  • Laminectomies
  • Spinal deformity correction
  • Minimally invasive spine surgery
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, physical therapists, and other specialists.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Participate in continuing medical education and stay abreast of the latest advancements in spine surgery.
  • Contribute to the advancement of clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide on call coverage as required.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Doctorate (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Fellowship training in spine surgery.
  • Active medical license in the state of Georgia or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Proven experience in performing complex spine surgeries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and ethical practice.
  • Ability to work well within a team.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $750,000 annually.
  • Incentive: 50% of collections, leading to a first year potential of $1M+.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO): 3 weeks annually.
  • Paid CME: 5 days plus $3,000.00 annual allowance.
