Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Duration: 12-month contract (with the possibility of extension)

Shift: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician , you will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to dispense medications, maintain inventory, and support healthcare providers and patients.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Dispensing Medication

• Prepare and deliver medications to patients accurately and on time.
• Investigate and resolve issues with missing doses or medication errors.
• Load and restock automated dispensing cabinets (ADC) efficiently.
• Prepare discharge medications by counting, labeling, and packaging.
• Conduct regular inspections of medication storage areas to ensure safety and compliance.

2. Managing Pharmacy Inventory

• Receive, store, and organize medications and supplies.
• Monitor and replenish inventory in ADCs and on patient floors.
• Check for expired medications and update stock accordingly.
• Process returned medications and ensure proper labeling and storage.

3. Providing Information and Assistance

• Respond to calls and requests from healthcare providers professionally.
• Help hospital staff and patients with questions about medications.
• Assist at the pharmacy counter and ensure all interactions are courteous and efficient.
