We’re looking for a hands-on, customer-focused Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our growing service team at AVT , a global leader in high-speed print inspection camera systems. 🔧 What You’ll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance (80%) on AVT’s industrial camera systems at customer sites across the U.S.
• Support minor electrical, mechanical, optical, and computer repairs (10%)
• Assist with new system installations (10%)
• Work primarily at printing companies across the U.S.
• Travel breakdown: ~75% domestic air travel, ~25% local/regional (Monday–Friday workweek)

🧠 Your Background

We’re open to entry-level candidates , including recent graduates or military veterans with relevant training. Ideal candidates have:

Technical Skills:

• Some experience or education in electronics , mechanics , or computer hardware
• Basic understanding of:
• Electrical systems (e.g., voltmeters, relays, AC/DC, motors, fuses)
• Mechanical systems (e.g., assembling/disassembling small parts, optics cleaning)
• PC hardware (e.g., swapping HDDs, power supplies, network/video cards)
• Windows OS familiarity

Personal Attributes:

• Hands-on, curious, and technically inclined
• Comfortable working independently and traveling frequently
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate around large industrial equipment
