About Us

At Avivo, we believe housing is a human right and a foundation for healing. Our Ending Homelessness division provides holistic, trauma-informed services to individuals and families navigating housing instability and recovery. Grounded in Housing First and Harm Reduction, we meet people where they are—offering support, safety, and connection every step of the way.

Our Transitional Recovery Lodging (TRL) program supports adults and families experiencing long-term homelessness and addiction, helping them stabilize in housing while attending intensive outpatient treatment. We are building a community where dignity and recovery thrive together.

Your Role

As the Program Manager of TRL, you will lead a team of Resident Advocates providing 24/7 support to individuals on their recovery and housing journey. You will oversee operations, staffing, and partnerships that make this critical transitional program successful. From building strong community connections to coaching staff and ensuring client-centered care, your work will help participants not only stabilize—but thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and 24-hour coverage for TRL, ensuring high-quality, mission-aligned services
  • Supervise, train, and develop a team of Resident Advocates across multiple shifts
  • Support program participants in their recovery journey and successful transition to housing, employment, or education
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and community partners
  • Ensure compliance with funding requirements, licensing standards, and organizational policies
  • Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, program development, and strategic improvements
  • Track program outcomes and continuously evaluate services to ensure excellence
  • Serve as a cultural and values-based leader who promotes trauma-informed, harm reduction practices
  • Manage emergency response and critical incidents as part of an alternating weekends on-call rotation

What You Offer

  • A passion for housing justice and trauma-informed care
  • At least an Associate degree and three years of related experience (or Bachelor’s and two years of experience)
  • Two years of supervisory or team lead experience, ideally in a behavioral health setting
  • Experience supporting people with co-occurring disorders, homelessness, and recovery goals
  • Strong relationship-building, critical thinking, and team leadership skills
  • Cultural humility and a commitment to undoing racism and reducing disparities
  • Knowledge of Electronic Health Records and comfort with data and compliance tracking
  • A belief in the power of Absolute Dignity, Curiosity, and Radical Welcome in every interaction

Benefits We Offer

  • 32-hr work week with this program
  • Medica health plan & Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • Nice Healthcare: chat, video, and in-home primary care
  • Dental plan
  • Dependent Care FSA
  • Basic Life/AD&D & Voluntary Life/AD&D
  • Long-term and optional short-term disability, critical illness, accident insurance
  • 401(k) Plan
  • 10 Paid holidays and generous PTO
  • Mileage reimbursement for required travel
