Job Title: Senior Python Developer – Banking & AI

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer with a strong background in the banking or financial services domain and hands-on exposure to AI/ML technologies . This is a full-time opportunity to work on high-impact, enterprise-grade applications focused on digital transformation in financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable Python applications in a banking environment.
• Collaborate with data science teams to integrate AI/ML models into production systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams including business analysts, architects, and DevOps to deliver secure and compliant financial solutions.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Ensure applications meet compliance, security, and performance standards.
• Write clean, testable, and reusable code following best practices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with Python .
• Strong experience in the banking or financial services domain (e.g., retail banking, investment banking, risk & compliance, trading systems).
• Experience with AI/ML concepts and integrating machine learning models into applications.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software architecture .
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices , and application deployment.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of compliance, security , and regulatory standards in the finance industry.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes , and CI/CD tools.
• Exposure to data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Financial certifications or coursework (e.g., CFA Level 1, FinTech specializations) are a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
