Drywall Estimator – Self-Perform Division

Austin, TX

We’re working with a respected Austin-based general contractor that’s growing its in-house self-perform drywall division . They’re looking to bring on an experienced Estimator who can help shape the future of the group and drive accurate, competitive bids on commercial interiors, renovations, and select ground-up work.

What You’ll Do:

• Own takeoffs, scope development, and bid packages for drywall
• Work collaboratively with PMs, Supers, and Precon team to ensure alignment
• Build relationships with key vendors, subs, and internal team members
• Support budget development through design-build and conceptual phases
• Help refine estimating tools and workflows for the SP group

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of estimating experience (ideally with drywall, framing, or carpentry scopes)
• Prior work with a self-perform GC or specialty contractor preferred
• Strong takeoff software and Excel skills
• Great communicator, team player, and problem solver
• Austin market experience is a plus
