QSB Operations Manager

Overview:

Perfect Fit HR Services is hiring a  QSB Operations Manager for a growing, innovative plastics manufacturing company in the flexible packaging industry. This is a  key leadership role focused on overseeing the production of  quad seal bags , improving operational efficiency, ensuring high-quality output, and driving continuous improvement across multiple manufacturing sites.

If you have hands-on experience in  flexible packaging or plastics , are  bilingual in English and Spanish , and enjoy leading teams to success, we want to talk to you!

Relocation support is available for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do:

1. Lead Production & Operations

• Oversee daily operations for quad seal bag manufacturing.
• Maximize machine uptime and hit OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) targets.
• Coordinate production schedules across sites to meet deadlines and quality standards.

2. Improve Processes & Reduce Costs

• Identify areas to cut costs and boost efficiency in labor, materials, and machine usage.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other best practices to improve production.

3. Ensure Quality

• Implement and maintain strong quality control procedures.
• Work with QA and production teams to prevent and fix any defects or issues.

4. Collaborate Across Teams

• Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to solve production challenges quickly and effectively.

5. Lead & Develop People

• Motivate and guide your team to meet performance goals.
• Build a positive, high-accountability culture with a focus on continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in plastics or flexible packaging manufacturing — ideally in quad seal bag production.
• Strong knowledge of  OEE, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proven track record in leading teams, improving production processes, and managing costs.
• Bilingual in  English and Spanish — this is a must.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
