Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Applications Engineer to join our client's ITSM team, with a dedicated focus on ServiceNow. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity with a leading telecommunications organization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions across ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, etc.)
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient ServiceNow workflows and automation
+ Customize and enhance ServiceNow forms, workflows, UI actions, business rules, client scripts, and integrations using best practices
+ Support ongoing system maintenance, upgrades, and performance tuning
+ Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow issues, ensuring stability and usability
+ Participate in ServiceNow platform roadmap discussions and contribute to strategic enhancements
**Key Requirements:**
+ Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow
+ Strong understanding of ITSM processes and ServiceNow platform capabilities
+ Experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide), integrations (REST/SOAP APIs), and custom application development within ServiceNow
+ Level III or Senior-level experience preferred

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $87,000 to $120,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
