Job Description

Lumark is responding to an opportunity at the Defense Health Agency (DHA) in Falls Church, VA , and is looking for qualified talent to come join our team. We have multiple positions available and encourage all with experience at the DHA to apply. In particular, we are looking for Executive Assistants, Business Analysts, Task Managers, Project Managers, and Program Managers who are well-versed in working within the Military Health System (MHS) .

All positions will be on-site in Falls Church, VA with the possibility of some hybrid/remote. The duties listed below are all-inclusive and may not be applicable to some positions.

General Duties

  • Responsible for/provide assistance with hiring/interviewing candidates with appropriate skills, upkeep of skillset for supporting legacy products, modernization efforts, and other tasks to meet Organization Mission, Vision, and Strategic goals.
  • Organize, direct, and manage contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.
  • Possess and exhibit knowledge in policy proposals and program documents.
  • Maintain and manage client interface at the senior levels of the client organization.
  • Meet with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items. Ensure conformance with program task schedules.
  • Possess and apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
  • Provide senior-level Human Capital Management Support to Federal/Military employees for new hire orientation.
  • Provide day-to-day operations support.
  • Assist with identification of positions.
  • Support Civilian and Military in-processing and out-processing.
  • Support training and awareness activities.
  • Manage and report aspects of military personnel and manpower actions.
  • Examine the current force structure and define gaps in education, training, and experience.

General Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience
  • At minimum, currently hold or have recently held a public trust clearance or higher.
  • Familiarity of the DoD and the Defense Health Agency is highly desired
  • Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle efficiently and effectively multiple and shifting priorities.
  • Strong customer service, organizational and interpersonal skills; problem solving and analytical abilities; and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), SharePoint
  • Proficiency with Tasker and Correspondence Management using DoD Systems.
  • Proficiency with Defense Travel System and the Joint Travel Regulations.
  • Required comprehensive understanding of the Army, Navy and Air Force military personnel and manpower programs and regulations governing those programs.
