About the Role
As a HW Manager, you will join Airspan’s dynamic and highly experienced team, working to expand our capabilities in developing software for radio base stations that support multiple radio access technologies, including 5G, 4G/LTE, and GSM.
Airspan’s hardware portfolio is built for scalability and reliability, with over 50,000 5G radios and 700,000 4G radios deployed in live networks worldwide. Our solutions meet the demands of public and private networks with unmatched efficiency and performance, spanning dense urban deployments and expansive industrial applications. Key Responsibilities
Build and develop a new SW team to design and develop software on state-of-the-art RFSoC chips.
Develop and maintain planning inputs, release schedules, feature estimates and other internal documentation.
Analyze requirements and work with product management on roadmap development.
Support internal and external teams in debug sessions and other joint ventures.
Identify, communicate and perform risk management related to SW design, team, or product.
Drive continuous improvements of processes and product quality
Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (minimum) or Master’s degree (preferred) in Computer Science in an accredited institution.
Hands-on expertise with large-scale embedded software projects and leading development large teams. Experience with global teams in multiple locations will be a plus.
Understanding of applicable wireless technologies (e.g., LTE, 5G-NR) and industry standards (e.g., 3GPP, FCC)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
