Roles and Responsibilities:
The Terminal Operations Manager is responsible for the entire operations of the Packing Plant, Loading Station, Maintenance, Live loading, and Rail Operations. This includes the management and coordination of daily activities to always ensure high performance and production. Other duties include ensuring company policies and procedures are followed as well as assisting in the onboarding process of new hires and providing training and educational materials to staff members.
The primary objective of the Terminal Operations Manager is mainly to establish and manage long-term goals that adhere with company goals and standards. The Terminal Operations Manager plays a critical role, working with Logistics, Operations, Marketing and Sales, to develop the necessary logistics infrastructure and networks to facilitate the business strategy. This position is accountable for providing site leadership, team development, and direction to team in order to achieve quality, safety, productivity goals, and to meet KPI’s and contractual obligations.
