About the Role

The Product Designer leads the front-end design of home textiles with a strong emphasis on technical execution. They own the process from patterning and sampling through production readiness, ensuring manufacturability, quality, and customer alignment. This role works cross-functionally with Product Development, Sales, and the domestic factory to deliver innovative products that meet customer requirements, cost and margin goals.

Topline Responsibilities :

  • Own Technical Patterning and Production Readiness
  • Ensure Sampling Accuracy and Execution
  • Design Concepts to Drive Customer Solutions
  • Leverage Market Trends and Visual Storytelling

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Textile/Apparel Design or 4-year degree in related field.
  • Experience in textile product manufacturing including knowledge of production machinery, cutting, and sewing.

Required Skills :

  • Proficiency in: Optitex or similar patterning software.
  • Expert in Adobe create suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Patternmaking and draping experience
  • Experience in BOM building, routings, and writing product technical specifications.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical concept skills.
  • Solution oriented and the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
