Job Description

The Regulatory Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations concerning tower erection, modifications, and antenna installations. This includes preparing and filing FCC/FAA applications, reviewing permits, conducting assessments, and ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met. The role involves strong attention to detail, proficiency in interpreting government guidelines, and maintaining relationships with relevant regulatory agencies.

Key Skills/Qualifications :

1. Compliance and wireless industry experience.
2. Knowledge of FCC/FAA regulations and other federal/state regulations related to tower sites.
3. Experience with height and lighting regulations for towers.
4. Familiarity with environmental regulations and concerns.
5. Experience in managing backlogs and delays.
6. Proficient in reviewing work scopes and technical drawings.
7. Knowledge of regulatory filings such as FAA Forms 7460-1 and -2, FCC Forms 854.
8. Pre-construction evaluation and permitting, including NEPA review.
9. Ability to manage relationships with regulatory agencies (FCC, FAA, state and local offices).
10. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
11. Excellent PC skills and the ability to work independently.
