One of Insight Global's large healthcare clients in the South Jersey area is looking for 2 Diagnostic X-ray Technologists to join the core team at the main hospital. There are a day and night shift available, with no on-call required. The X-ray Technologist is responsible for maintaining a productive flow of patient visits throughout the day or night with the other techs. Techs are scheduled in a few different areas including portables, trauma, and general X-ray on a rotating basis. The tech will not be required to work in the OR or Fluoroscopy but must be willing to assist outside of scheduled area as needed to support the team and patient care.
On a day-to-day the X-ray Technologist will be responsible for morning rounds or mid-day trauma rounds. Following rounds the tech will do portable scans throughout the hospital and see patients in their designed area. The team utilizes Carestream technology for imaging and EPIC for documentation. This is a high-level Trauma facility in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must possess a positive attitude, solid communication, and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trauma care and be capable of working independently, especially during overnight shifts.
