DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND REVENUE GROWTH

Location : Nashville, TN (Relocation Assistance Provided)

Objective

Lead The Dingman Group’s business development, strategic partnerships, and revenue generation efforts by expanding our footprint across Sports Relocation Management, Franchise Relocation and Expansion, and Team Logistics — driving scalable and sustainable growth.

Core Responsibilities

  • Ability to sell and expand multiple service lines across complex stakeholder groups within sports organizations, turning single-point relationships into enterprise-level partnerships.
  • Identify, pursue, and close high-value new business opportunities.
  • Build and manage strong strategic partnerships with sports teams, sports agencies, advisors, sports-adjacent companies, leagues, venues, sports ownership groups, and collegiate sports.
  • Represent The Dingman Group at key sports industry events.
  • Ensure operational processes and On the Move® technology stay tightly aligned with market demands, leveraging client feedback to influence business strategy, optimize workflows, and enhance revenue performance.
  • Develop and nurture a robust sales pipeline aligned with aggressive company growth goals.
  • Drive revenue growth through client acquisition, upselling, cross-selling, and retention strategies.
  • Partner cross-functionally with the Client Services team to ensure seamless alignment between sales and service delivery.
  • Continuously refine pricing models, proposals, and service offerings to maximize profitability and customer experience.
  • Lead dynamic sales meetings, manage CRM activities, and oversee revenue reporting processes.
  • Deliver revenue forecasts and performance updates to company leadership.
  • Partner with the Team Logistics lead to execute defined responsibilities at major events (e.g., Super Bowl), maintaining clear ownership over assigned operational and client engagement areas to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Demonstrated success in B2B and B2C sales and business development, ideally in sports, relocation, or logistics industries.
  • A strategic thinker with a tactical execution mindset — able to drive initiatives independently and collaboratively.

  • Data-driven decision maker with strong operational, analytical, forecasting, and financial modeling abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, adaptability, self-motivation, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000 + performance-based incentives
