(This position is a hybrid role working onsite in Downtown, Boston once a week. Candidates will need to live in the Boston area to be considered)

The successful applicant will provide ownership of and be performing work in FedRAMP or IL-5 type environments, and therefore, must be a U.S. Person (i.e. U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee). This position may also perform work that the U.S. government has specified can only be performed by a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil.

Meet the Team

Cisco Systems is offering an extraordinary opportunity to be part of a small, innovative team with a low process, high throughput culture. The team is working on Cisco Defense Orchestrator, which manages policy and configuration of Security Business Group's firewalls. We are looking for an energetic senior UI engineer to help us build this innovative product.

Your Impact

• Participate as a technical contributor on a fast-paced project team of engineers involved in the development of new, cloud-based Cisco security products
• Contribute to all phases of software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering through implementation, testing and maintaining multiple code modules
• Contribute to the development of aggressive project goals and schedules
• Create innovative solutions for complex technical problems.
• Offers suggestions for frontend dev improvements / take lead on initiatives
• Mentoring less experienced frontend developers

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/CS with 8+ years of experience or MS/CS with 5+ years of experience
• 3 + years of professional work experience with Angular and Typescript
• Testing experience with (e.g jest, cypress)
• Experience working with Nx Monorepo
• 2 + years of experience working in an AWS or Azure Cloud environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of security technologies including firewalls
• Experience working with store pattern (NgRx, Redux)
• Experience working in a start-up environment
• Experience working on a SaaS products
• Agile software development experience
