The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating electrical construction activities at the project site. This role ensures all work aligns with design specifications, contract documents, and safety standards. The supervisor monitors contractor performance, verifies installation quality, and supports project delivery through effective collaboration and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:Supervise and assess the quality, productivity, and safety of on-site electrical work performed by contractors and vendors
Conduct walkdowns, validate completed work against design requirements, and authorize contractor payment approvals
Monitor construction schedules, resource allocation, and work progress to ensure alignment with project goals
Provide leadership and support to Construction Supervisors and field teams; coach and communicate departmental goals
Ensure scope control, budget oversight, and accurate performance reporting
Interpret and validate electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
Collaborate with EPCs, subcontractors, NEER/FPL operations teams, and other site personnel
Understand and oversee SCADA systems, fiber optics, and related testing (e.g., TTR, VLF, OTDR, Fall of Potential, VOCs)
Perform inspections to ensure installations meet quality and technical requirements
Manage electrical quality control (QC) documentation and photo records using Unifier
Facilitate RFIs with EPCs and engineering teams
Support field commissioning and project turnover
Participate in safety programs and uphold company safety policies and procedures
Maintain a professional working relationship with all stakeholders on-site
