Job Description

Our client is looking for an HR Manager to join their team! This individual plays a critical role in leading the Human Resources and Administration function, driving strategic initiatives, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive, high-performance culture. This role is responsible for managing HR operations, talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, compensation strategies, and employee relations, all aimed at supporting organizational growth and enhancing employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, employee development, and retention strategies.
  • Develop and execute recruitment initiatives to attract and retain top talent, aligning hiring practices with business objectives and growth projections.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to create and maintain clear and accurate job roles, structures, and descriptions.
  • Implement effective recruitment strategies that address evolving organizational needs and industry trends.
  • Analyze compensation data and market trends to maintain competitive salary structures and ensure equitable pay.
  • Manage and optimize the performance management process, overseeing performance reviews and feedback mechanisms to drive employee development.
  • Oversee the onboarding experience, ensuring new hires are seamlessly integrated into the organization and set up for long-term success.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on managing employee performance, disciplinary actions, and enhancing employee engagement.
  • Develop, refine, and enforce HR policies to ensure adherence to legal requirements and best practices.
  • Champion employee training and development programs to boost skills, morale, and long-term retention.
  • Stay up-to-date on federal and state HR regulations, ensuring the organization remains in compliance with all relevant employment laws.
  • Oversee internal and external training and career development programs, focusing on leadership development and succession planning.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic HR initiatives such as workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning to support the company’s long-term success.

Qualifications:

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience : At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a management position.
  • Leadership : Proven experience leading HR teams and managing multiple HR functions across the organization.
  • Knowledge : Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices, including compliance with federal and state requirements.
  • Skills : Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Technical Skills : Proficient in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other HR tools.
  • Certifications : SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within a reasonable time frame.
