Job Description

A KYC (Know Your Customer) Analyst focuses on the critical process of verifying client identities and assessing risk to comply with anti-money laundering (AML) and other regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Identity Verification:

• Collecting and reviewing client identification documents.
• Verifying the authenticity of documents and information provided.
• Conducting background checks and screening against sanctions lists and politically exposed persons (PEP) databases.

Customer Due Diligence (CDD):

• Assessing client risk profiles based on factors.
• Gathering and analyzing information to understand the nature and purpose of the client relationship.
• Performing enhanced due diligence (EDD) for high-risk clients.

Onboarding Process Management:

• Ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new clients.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records.
• Communicating with clients to request necessary information and documentation.
• Using KYC/AML software and systems.

Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:

• Staying up-to-date on relevant KYC/AML regulations and industry best practices.
• Adhering to internal policies and procedures.
• Escalating potential compliance risks to management.
• Documenting all actions taken.

Data Entry and Record Keeping:

• Accurately inputting client data into internal systems.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in the KYC field

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (preferred).

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonalskills.
• Advanced excel skills.
