Title: Quality Manager

Pay: $75k - $100k

Location: North Charleston, SC

Type: Direct hire

Responsibilities

• Drive quality earlier into the launch process (Quality Assurance).
• React quickly to customer concerns.
• Improve the Business Management System through audits and improvement ideas.
• Meet annual departmental goals.
• Develop quality plans from customer requirements, external standards, and internal procedures to mitigate risk.
• Be the contact for customer quality concerns.
• Lead customer scorecard improvements.
• Serve as a leader/member of corrective action teams.
• Perform ISO / AS internal audits.
• Implement containment activities to protect the customer from repeat non-conformances.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Quality Assurance functions, with adequate experience using inspection and test equipment.
• ISO-9000 or AS-9100 related auditing, inspection & test, Metrology, and calibration.
• Print reading & interpretation (GD&T).
• Process Improvement, Analyzing Information, Strategic Planning.
• Ability to interact effectively with suppliers and customers.
• Familiarity with Machining, Welding, Assembly, and Testing.
• Good planning, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Results-driven with an emphasis on keeping customer and business commitments.
