Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive EHS Specialist to lead and coordinate the implementation of environmental, health, and safety programs across multiple manufacturing sites. This role ensures full compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT , and other regulatory standards, while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement EHS programs (e.g., Lockout/Tagout, PPE, Hazardous Waste, SPCC, PSM).
• Monitor site compliance with federal and state regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, etc.).
• Lead EHS audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Support regulatory reporting (e.g., OSHA 300 logs, Tier II, stormwater/wastewater permits).
• Collaborate with site teams on corrective actions, training, and emergency preparedness.
• Provide guidance on safety design for new equipment, facilities, and processes.
• Track and report EHS metrics to corporate leadership.
• Conduct regular training and ensure standardization of EHS procedures and supplies across sites.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of multi-site EHS experience in manufacturing (required).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and environmental regulations.
• Experience with EHS audits, training development, and regulatory reporting.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel 50% of the time and work off-shifts as needed.
