SITE ACQUISITION ANALYST JOB DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY : This entry level Site Acquisition Analyst plays a vital role in the overall execution of solar farm development by working collaboratively both internally and with outside partners. The Site Acquisition Analyst is responsible for identifying qualified properties for purchase for solar development and supports the team in the origination process.

POSITION: Site Acquisition Analyst

REPORTSTO: Origination Manager

TERMS/HOURS: Full-time, M-F, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

CLASSIFICATION: Hourly/Non-Exempt

Pay Range: $15.50-$28 an hour (Pay information will vary depending upon relevant experience for the position)

WORK AUTHORIZATION: US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Research and Administration

1. Conduct research and publish condensed narrative of relevant local, state and national news and policy updates relating to Community Solar development and renewable energy. Research local laws and community leaders in locations identified for a potential project.
2. Conduct research on properties for potential acquisition and development utilizing established internal processes.
3. Assist the Development team in their due diligence, mapping, permitting, and other development aspects, as and when requested by the Origination Manager.
4. Manage project folders and data rooms to ensure compliance and consistency throughout internal documentation and filings. Conduct weekly verifications that data rooms are up to date.
5. Actively supports team by managing processes, creating reports, maintaining trackers, following and enhancing existing due diligence.

General Project Administration Tasks

1. Assist in the planning and execution of existing and new project origination strategies and initiatives.
2. Update customer relationship management database tool with new opportunities.
3. Assist the Development team to review local and federal laws to ensure regulatory compliance.
4. Proactively support team members and company activities to ensure business success.
5. Work with Acquisition team to draft accurate and concise solicitation letters. Find accurate contact information for landowners to verify and properly customize documentation.
6. Create and maintain weekly reporting for prospective purchase agreements.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field of study, preferred.
• Ability to multitask several projects at a particular time and highly organized.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

• 0-3 years of work experience.

SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS:

• None.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Clean, safe office environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods during the day.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
