The Role:

Wire Network is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager to oversee the execution of complex, multi-faceted development initiatives. This role is ideal for a former programmer with a strong technical foundation who excels at breaking down intricate projects into actionable plans, managing timelines, and coordinating across teams. You will be working closely with our Chief Product Officer, VP of Engineering, and Chief Technology Officer to ensure alignment between technical execution and strategic goals. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in building groundbreaking blockchain technologies while helping to shape our growing team and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple technical projects across engineering teams, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.
• Collaborate with leadership on research & development and draft product requirements documents & product specs.
• Translate complex technical product overviews into actionable, granular development plans for engineers.
• Collaborate with leadership to align project priorities and milestones with business goals.
• Oversee dependencies across teams, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
• Create detailed documentation, roadmaps, and status reports to keep stakeholders informed and aligned.
• Act as a technical liaison, facilitating discussions between engineering, product, and executive teams.
• Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Drive process improvements, ensuring efficiency in project delivery and alignment with industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in roles such as Technical Program Manager, Technical Project Manager, Lead Developer, or similar.
• 2+ years of programming experience, with a solid foundation in software development and architecture.
• Proven experience managing technical projects or programs in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering processes and ability to work closely with developers.
• Exceptional ability to break down complex technical challenges into clear, actionable tasks.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing cross-functional teams and aligning technical execution with strategic objectives.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar.
• Experience in blockchain and smart contracts is a strong plus, but not required.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
